Empowerment in Motion Mentoring (EMMP) Conference Workshop:

Sponsored by Advancing Women in Biomechanics, July 30th at 6:30pm (local time)

The goal of this 2-hour workshop is to provide a framework and support for mentors and mentees, and an opportunity to meet potential mentors and mentees within the ISB community. Participants will work through materials developed by the Empowerment in Motion Mentoring Program (EMMP), and will have opportunities to work together in small groups to put these skills into practice. The session will conclude with networking, to facilitate new mentor/mentee relationships. This session is open to all genders and career levels. Participants are encouraged to become an EMMP participant as a mentor and/or mentee in the future.

This workshop will be held at the congress venue at the conclusion of the scientific program, with light refreshments provided. Information about how to register for the workshop will be emailed to all congress registrants in the next few days, and places will be limited.
